Music in our schools is vitally important to the development of young leaders. The award-winning Helix Instrumental Music Program includes approximately 150 students in seven different ensembles. We are extremely proud of the recognition our student programs bring to Helix and the La Mesa community each year and of the personal success stories and scholarship opportunities received by students who have gone through our department.
Each year our charitable foundation, the Helix Instrumental Music Association 501c(3), conducts a fun-filled evening dedicated to raising much-needed funds in support of continued music education in the La Mesa community. Our 28th Annual Dinner Auction will be held on Saturday, February 22, in the Arbor View Room at the La Mesa Community Center, 4975 Memorial Drive, La Mesa 91942. Proceeds from this event provide repair and maintenance of instruments, outside professional instruction, transportation, performance opportunities, and scholarship funds.

This is our largest fundraiser of the year and our goal is to raise $15,000. We look forward to seeing you there!
